Going for a splash at Bucklebury Ford, in a real 4 x 4!
We can provide suitable carriages, including a driver and grooms, for your picnic ride or other rural adventure. We can also provide you with food and drink, unless you would like to bring your own. If you do, then a couple of carrots for the horses, and perhaps something for the driver, would not go amiss.
This Waggonette seats six people in facing seats extended along each side with the driver and the grooms up front. This carriage is ideal for proms, children’s parties, country picnics and other informal events.
Our prices for the hire of a carriage for picnics, children’s parties, etc, typically range from £250.00 to £450.00. The actual price depends mainly on the choice of carriage and the transportation of the carriage and the horses to the location of the event.

The occasion was Joe’s 60th birthday.
The carriage ride and picnic were a special surprise organised by his family.
That’s Joe on the left. Brian, sporting the full beard, is Joe's brother. He travelled from Wales to celebrate his brother’s birthday.
